Poet’s Chair

  A sequence of 3 poems dedicated to Carolyn Mulholland (born in Lurgan, Co Armagh in 1944; a student at the Belfast College of Art from 1962 to 1966, where she won the Ulster Arts Club prize for Sculpture in 1965). In the epigraph a sculptress orbits the Renaissance’s most celebrated painter/ scientist/ engineerand scholar, Italian Leonardo da Vinci (1452–1519).
